Team JDub is always happy to hear that other Jewy bands we like are playing shows nearby, so you can imagine our delight when we discovered that the Southern punk sounds of CAN!!CAN (you might know singer Patrick, of PunkTorah) would be making an appearance at The Shemspeed Summer Music Fest going down at The Bell House in Brooklyn on Thursday. Shemspeed has special events running all week in tons of cities, but we’re really pumped for the Thursday date that also includes Electro Morocco, Describe, Y-Love, Diwon, Eytan & Six Point Star.
Of course, I can’t not mention that JDub’s very own Girls in Trouble are playing a Shemspeed Fest event tonight at Drom in the East Village, alongside Eprhyme and Kosha Dillz. That should start around 9PM, so don’t be late!
