Manhattan Bridge Underpass is Open
New York City has decided to reopen the archway under the Manhattan bridge in Dumbo this summer, opening the door for programming and events to be held in the underpass. Wouldn’t a JDub event here be really cool? Besides the possibility of performances, the space will also serve as the summer location for the New Amsterdam Market, a farmers market similar to the Borough Market in London or the Reading Terminal Market in Philly. The Market plans to make its debut on June 28, but the archway could be open much sooner than that, creating another very unique community space for the city.
