Death in Love

I am very excited to let the world know that DEATH IN LOVE, the latest film by Boaz Yakin, director of A Price Above Rubies, Fresh and Remember the Titans, is coming out tonight—and it features a song by The Sway Machinery!

Death in Love, is about a holocaust survivor and her relationship with her adult sons. I would say it’s one of the most harrowing depicitions of the psychological warfare between Jewish mothers and sons that I have ever seen. Be prepared, this is not a pious treatment of the Survivor story. I am certain the film will ruffle a lot of feathers, which is definitely a good thing!

In addition to The Sway Machinery, the sound track also features music by Beirut.

I’ve always been a fan of Boaz’s work, and I am really thrilled to have been involved with this project. Death in Love is premiering TONIGHT in NYC at Quad Cinema (34 W 13th Street) on July 17th. Please make your way to the theater to support this awesome work!
