Silver & Ash was supported by a grant from the Six Points Fellowship.

CNN picked up the story behind Clare Burson’s Silver and Ash for their “Belief Blog” this week! The piece is titled “Curiousity of Jewish Roots Inspires Indie Singer’s Album,” and focuses on the religious and emotional aspects of Clare’s journey. Her album and all the work she put into it is well-deserving of all this amazing press!

Hers is no longer just the story of a hundred-and-seventeen-year-old piece of cheese. Clare Burson performed songs from her new album “Silver and Ash” last Thursday at Joe’s Pub, and the reviews are rolling in.
In a piece published this morning, the NYTimes interviewed Clare to learn more about the history behind the album. Spinner wrote a great, detailed chronicle of Clare’s artistic journey, and Popdose.com called the album “rich” and “moving.” Read More »
Clare Burson recently stopped by Relix and performed “Goodbye My Love.” You can watch the video here.
